Editors' ReviewDownload.com staffOctober 28, 2019Pocket is a great way to save the cool and interesting stuff you find, so you can view, read, or play it later with Pocket's Android app or on the Web. Pocket's free Android app lets you save and share stuff directly from the apps you're already using by tapping the Pocket icon.ProsEasy to use: Right away, we were able to browse to an article, tapped Share, selected Add to Pocket, and added Tags or sent stuff via email.Multiple platforms: Pocket's multiplatform compatibility lets you save and view stuff on Android, Windows, and iOS devices. You can even save stuff via email.Options: Link or unlink Google+, dark theme, Wi-Fi-only, background or startup sync, manage site log-in data, SD card cache, and LED Flash notifications, to name a few. Need another feature? Request it: Many are implemented.Prevent data usage: Saving stuff to read later on might save on data charges, too, especially if you enable Pocket's Wi-Fi-only option.ConsFinding articles: We'd like a quicker way to recall recently added articles from inside our browser for tagging or sharing. No full-text search: Pocket Premium's Full-Text Search tool would help attract (and retain) more Pocket users if it came with the free app.Bottom LinePocket is a useful, easy-to-use tool that anyone can use. We're definitely glad to see Pocket in our Android.
