As it name states, this application simply turns compressed MP3s into uncompressed WAV files. However, unlike some of the more well-rounded conversion apps we've tested, this one lacks support for other formats such as WMA and OGG. WaveMaker MP3 to WAV Converter's main interface is one of its strong points; not only is it pleasant to look at, but it lets you add files to the queue by dragging and dropping. The normalization tool is a nice plus, as are the effects for adding fades, but the app lacks other audio features such as a burner or a built-in player. Still, we're glad to say that the program handles the conversion process quickly and with no hiccups. Many major jukeboxes boast more versatile conversion engines than this program, but if you transform lots of MP3s to WAVs on an everyday basis, you might glance at this app.
